Whenever you sit down, stand up, go to ground and get up, generically walk – anything that requires a movement of the knee-set, try not to use the muscles that interact & power these fundamental joints. Simply relax through and lead from the knees only; there should be no or minimal muscle use. For example a simple squat should be led through relaxation of the knees rather than a conscious muscle driven lowering of the body.

Benefits: Increases the ability to move smoothly & lightly, reduces muscular effort, reserves energy and allows the breath to be flow without raising heart-rate.
